CURRENT PROJECT
Projekt “About how our own garden is created in Kagadi Home”
People living on the outskirts of Kagadi, in villages several kilometers away from the “center”, live very poorly: no electricity, no sewage system, no access to clean water. You live there from small trade or cultivate, among others corn. So the staple food is corn. Various types of mashes are prepared from the corn grated into flour, and the same mashes are diluted with water to drink … Sometimes someone has a hen, an egg, sometimes someone has a fruit tree …
Such a diet, however, does not satisfy the body’s needs, it only satisfies the feeling of hunger.
Our children have to learn a lot. For this science to be effective, they need a diet rich in products that support the work of the brain. That is why a garden is being built next to our house!
The tomatoes sown last year have grown like crazy, and now that we have permission to develop more land, we will also plant cabbage, eggplants, onions and other vegetables. Thanks to this, the children’s diet will be significantly enriched with nutritional values!
Project “I sew – I live better”
Our Foundation tries not to give gifts and ready-made solutions, but we want to give a fishing rod so that learning will not be wasted!
We purchased the first pedal sewing machine (on the outskirts of Kagadi, access to electricity is very limited).
We want to support young women so that they can learn the tailoring profession.
The idea behind the project is that after studying these young women will receive a sewing machine and earn their living.
Our first student is Christine, and her trainer is Abigaba.
The sewing course will last 2 months.
We keep our fingers crossed for Christine!
Projekt “Home”
We would like to make their dreams come true.
We do believe that education is the only way that can change their lives for the better.
Our dream is to bring them together with our coordinators and volunteers under one roof.
For this purpose, we need to rebuild and renovate a safe house for kids in a distance of 50m from school.
We would like to encourage you to join our fundraising for renovation of their future home.
The total cost of renovation is 960 Ł = €1100.
Please help us to make it possible.

Projekt “Give an animal”
Pigs are one of the animals that are easy to breed with minimal cost, but with a high profit margin!
Investing in a piggery would be the starting point for increasing family income and empowering the community.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF BREEDING PIGS FOR THE KAGADI COMMUNITY?
- Source of family income.
- Food source. Mature pigs give pork, which people consume especially on important and celebrated days, thus strengthening their immunity.
- Pig droppings are used as a source of fertilizer for gardens
- Pig farming makes people feel responsible for their pet’s growth!
In addition, animal care is an interesting and attractive perspective for our children, developing in them a sense of diligence and commitment.
DONATE A PET TO OUR FAMILIES in Kagadi.
The cost of one pig is 12 £ = 13 euro

Projekt “Fairy tale portraits”
Monika is an extremely talented woman, an artist!
Monika creates personalized illustrations of our children from Kagadi Home Foundation, which in a few months will decorate the interior of our children’s home – HOME IN KAGADI.
“Learning is a journey” Project
Help our children to make their dream of returning to school come true! Join the project and take one of our children on such a journey!
The average monthly cost of living at school (tuition fees, lunch, school supplies etc.) is 15£ = 80 pln. Our priority is now to start learning at KAGADI PARENTS’ SCHOOL in FEBRUARY!
The pandemic processes like in Poland led to the closure of schools in Uganda last year. In African countries, education is paid and children dream about going to school. Thanks to your regular support, children will not only learn basic skills such as writing and skills but also discover potential and make plans for the future! Please contact us if you want to help.

title: LEARNING
We see loneliness and poverty, and at the same time people’s great dreams, and we respond to their needs on an ongoing basis.
Most of the inhabitants are affected by poverty, which allows them to eat one meal a day, not always one …The community lives primarily from its own crops. However, there is a big discrepancy between the expected yield and what they actually harvest from their gardens. This is mainly due to the planting of a weak seed variety (not resistant to bad weather) and the use of weak agricultural tools (stick instead of a hoe).
In our activities, we want to focus, among other things, on increasing the productivity of crops and livestock.
By creating multi-directional projects, we want to sow a seed of hope in people and constantly build their self-esteem and self-confidence, which are the necessary equipment of a life journey. The concept of the Foundation’s activity is based on shaping, developing and strengthening social competences.
